Obtaining the Rusted Old Bell
The Rusted Old Bell is a reference to Wirt's Bell used as part of Diablo 3's Staff of Herding, which opened the way to Whimsyshire.
Hint: "The Accession of Lord Uacax" found in Samuk
"On the day of his Accession, Lord Uacax followed the morning birds and then honored him with their song. He adopted their image as his crest."
Quest Steps:
- • Visit 12 bird statues around the zone Five Hills, starting just east of Samuk
- • Follow them in the order shown on the map above
- • Return to the first statue after visiting all 12
- • Stay close to each statue proximity is enough to count
- • Don't get too close to ones you're not visiting or have already passed
- • Bell drops on the ground after visiting all statues
- • If you are in a party only the leader gets it
Obtaining the Jabbering Gemstone
Jabbering Gemstone, a reference to the Gibbering Gemstone also used as part of the Staff of Herding in Diablo 3.
Hint: "The Reverence of Uacax" found in the Kurast Docks
"Although Lord Uacax was an orphan, he held great respect for his ancestors. Before embarking on his quest, he honored them thrice. He returned with the riches of the earth."
Quest Steps:
- • Go to the shrine just south of the Kurast Docks
- • Use the "Thanks" emote at three specific graves in order: 2 - 1 - 3
- • This rewards the "riches of the earth" - the Jabbering Gemstone
Obtaining the Crooked Staff
Hint: "The Triumph of Lord Uacax" found in Kichuk
"A cunning beast terrorized the plains. Though Lord Uacax was untrained in combat he hunted and defeated this foe. He claimed the beast's weapon as a trophy."
Quest Steps:
- • Slay the Super Elite Lacuni named Blood Lightning
- • Must defeat him with "Attack" the default level 1 attack
- • Unallocate entire skill tree and remove gear that grants skill ranks
- • Remove Mercenaries as they can prevent the drop
- • Gear with +speed +damage +cooldown and paragon points are allowed
- • The enemy must only take damage from the basic attack
- • You can farm another staff if you give away the first one
Corrupting the Relics
Head to the Field of Giants in Nahantu, just North of Ichor Falls. Find three Cordycepic Zombies and defeat them together.
Instructions:
- • Locate all 3 Cordycepic Zombies in the area
- • Kite them together and kill them near each other
- • Zombies won't drop agro unless they move out of your screen
- • Zombies respawn immediately if killed accidentally
- • They'll produce impassible Black Mushrooms when killed together
- • Drop your relics into the mushrooms to corrupt them
- • Look for the purple and black aura to confirm corruption
Getting and Using the Unusual Key
Final Steps:
- • Go to the Oka'bo Temple Southeast of Kurast Bazaar
- • Find three Braziers near the entrance
- • Offer your Corrupted Relics to light the braziers
- • Receive the Unusual Key
- • Use the key in Forlorn Burrow Cellar
- • Look for the breakable wall in the cellar
- • Defeat all cows to get the Rusted Bardiche (known as Bovine Bardiche in D3)
